How To Prevent Pimples for Oily Skin

Oily skin is often prone to pimples and acne breakout; this is caused by the excess presence of oil on the surface of the skin. The excess oil found in people with oily skin clogged the pores of the skin.

Lemon Juice and Honey

Lemon juice is effective in preventing and treating of pimples because of its antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.

Mix one tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice with one tablespoon of honey and stir it together until it forms a thick paste. Applying the paste to affected part using a cotton swab and leave it for 25 to 20 minutes. Wash it off with water and apply oil-free face moisturizer. This method also helps to fade the pimples scar.

Tomatoes

Tomatoes can be also be used to prevent and treat pimple, the high presence of vitamin C and the ability to absorb excess oil makes it ideal for people with oily skin.

Cut a tomato into two and rub it on your skin, leave it for 15 to 20 minutes before washing it off with water and apply oil-free face moisturizer.

Cucumbers

Cucumber is effective in the prevention of pimples because of the soothing and cooling properties, it contains 95% water which when use keeps you hydrated.

Cut fresh organically grown cucumber into slices and rub it on your face or other affected part and leave it overnight. Wash it off with cold water and apply an oil-free moisturizer. This method helps in the exfoliating of the skin and cleans the surface of the skin to prevent dry skin cell from skin pores.

Tea tree oil

This is the most potent oil that can be used to treat pimple and acne due to its antibacterial properties which fight the bacteria can forms pimples. It also helps to reduce the redness and swelling that form on your skin surface.


Dip a cotton swab into tree tea essential oil and apply it on your face. Wash it off with water after 20 minutes and apply oil-free face moisturizer. Wash your wash after using essential oil because the oil is highly toxic.

Honey

Honey can also be used to prevent pimple by reducing the excess oil present on the skin surface and clear the skin pores. Honey is also a natural antibiotic which kills bacteria causing pimples and also to speed up the healing process of your skin.
Gently massage honey into your skin or affected area and wash it off after 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can add cinnamon to add and add massage the paste to your skin and leave it overnight. Wash it off with cold water and apply water based face moisturizer.

Aloe Vera

The use of aloe vera every week for people with oily skin can prevent pimple from forming on your skin and can also help in getting rid of pimples and its scar. Aloe vera contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce the redness, swelling, and skin irritation.

Cut aloe vera into two and extract the gel inside. Apply the gel to your face and let it dry. Wash it off with water and apply water based moisturizer.

Rosewater

Rose water is flavored water made by adding rose petals into the water. Rose water is one of the most important ingredients that you can include to prevent pimples. It is a natural product that helps soften your skin and give you a glowing skin.

Add rose water to lemon juice or honey and apply it to your face and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash your face with water and apply water based moisturizer.

Due to its moisturizing properties of rose water, you can add rose water to your cream and moisturizer to improve your cream. It is effective against several skin conditions such as acne, pimples, eczema and reduces blemishes and scar.

Papaya

Papaya is one of the gifts of nature, not only is it a good source of vitamin A, and C. It can also be used to treat pimples because of the presence of antibacterial property present in the fruits.

The enzyme and antioxidant present in papaya kill the bacteria causing pimples and reduce the swelling, redness, and inflammation.

Apply the raw pulp that you will find inside the fruit on affected part on your skin for 30 minutes and wash it off with water. Alternatively, you can mix papaya pulp with honey and gently massage the paste into your skin and leave it for 30 minutes before washing it off with water.

Apple Cider Vinegar

The only way to prevent pimples from forming in and oily skin is to kill the bacteria causing acne. The bacteria is present in the sebaceous gland and the use of apple cider vinegar is effective in preventing the bacteria and also to helps to get rid of pimples when they are formed on the skin surface because of its antibacterial properties.


Mix 11/2 cup of water with 1 cup of water and stir it. Wash your face with the mixture every day. Using this recipe would help to reduce the excess oil and leave you with smooth and clean skin.
