Lemon juice is rich in vitamin C and contains smaller amounts of the B vitamins, particularly B1, B2, and niacin. You can buy lemon juice from your grocery store. The vitamin C present in lemon juice can help lighten dark spot on your skin and synthesis of collagen and regeneration of skin tissue that has been destroyed.
Dip a cotton swab into a container or jar containing lemon juice, apply the cotton swab on the affected part, and leave it dry. Wash it off with water; you can repeat this process until you see a desirable change in your skin.

Aloe vera gel is filled with multivitamins like vitamin A, C, and E. Vitamin A also retinol contains retinoic acid which helps in the maintaining of skin tissue. You can buy aloe vera gel from health store, but getting raw gel from the aloe vera leaves is preferable because aloe vera gel you bought from the store is filled with different chemicals and they are not fresh.
Cut the aloe vera leave into two and extract the gel inside, gently massage the gel to your face with your finger and leave it for 20 minutes, then rinse your face with water.
Potato is a natural lighten food that you can use to fade and lighten dark spot, potato is rich in starch which helps to reduce the pigmentation while the vitamin C helps to lighten the spot.
There are two ways that you can use potato to remove dark spot.
Add 2 tablespoon of honey with one tablespoon of potato flour and stir it together until it forms a thick and smooth paste, apply the paste directly on the affected area and leave it on for 20 minutes before washing it off with water.
Slice up a potato and place the sliced potato directly on the dark spot and leave it on for 20 minutes before washing it off with water.
Turmeric is an herbaceous plant of the ginger family, Native to southern India and Indonesia, with a widely uses ranging from cooking to cosmetics. In parts of Asia turmeric has been used to the lighten complexion and remove dark spot and blemishes.
Mix 2 tablespoon of turmeric powder with little honey and lemon juice and stir until it forms a thick paste, apply the paste directly on the affected area and leave it on for 10 minutes before washing it off with water.
Yogurt is filled with a high amount of lactic acid which helps reduce skin pigmentation and brighten the skin complexion. Alternatively, you can use buttermilk because it also contains a high amount of lactic acid.
Apply yogurt directly on the affected area and leave it on for 10 minutes before washing it off with water. Repeat this process twice a day for one month.
Alternatively,you can also add tomato puree to yogurt or buttermilk and apply it on your skin before washing it off after 10 minutes.
Papaya contains an enzyme called papain which helps to get rid of dead skin cells that filled up the skin pores, kills the bacteria causing skin inflammations, and exfoliates the skin.
Apply the raw pulp that you will find inside the fruit on affected part on your skin for 20 minutes and wash it off with water. Alternatively, you can mix papaya pulp with honey and gently massage the paste into your skin and leave it for 20 minutes before washing it off with water.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is one of the most effective ingredients that kills bacteria fast, but most people don’t know that you can also use it to lighten up your skin and remove dark spot and blemishes this is because it contains alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA) which promote skin cell regeneration and exfoliates the skin.
Mix equal part of apple cider vinegar and water and apply the solution on your skin and leave it on for 20 minutes before washing it off with water.
