Activated Charcoal and Bentonite Clay Mask
We have already know the benefits of activated charcoal, so I am going list the benefits that you can get when using Bentonite clay mask on your face. Bentonite clay mask helps to reduce the swelling and redness often associated with inflamed skin and also promote the regeneration of skin new cell to replace worn out and overused cell.
Ingredients

  1. 1 tablespoon of activated charcoal
  2. 2 tablespoon of Bentonite clay
  3. 2 tablespoon of rosewater
  4. 1 teaspoon of honey

Directions

  • In a small plastic bowl, add all the ingredients and stir them with a plastic spoon until it turns into a thick paste. Ensure that there is no lump formed in the paste. 
  • Wash your face with tepid water so as to open the skin pores and apply the paste to your face. Gently massage the paste into your skin using your fingers. 
  • Allow the face mask to stay on your face for 7 to 10 minutes or let the face mask dries on its own; wash it off with lukewarm water.

Activated charcoal and coconut oil to exfoliate skin

  1. 2 tablespoon of activated charcoal
  2. 1 tablespoon of coconut oil

Directions

  • Add activated charcoal and coconut oil in a small bowl, and use a spoon to mix it thoroughly together until it turns to a thick paste, if it is too thick you can add coconut oil and mix it together.
  • Wash your face with clean water and pat it dry with a soft towel.
  • Apply the paste to your face and use your finger to gently massage the paste on your face in a circular motion, this is to allow the paste to enter the skin pores.
  • Allow the face mask to stay on your face for 5 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Pat your face dry after.

  1. 2 tablespoon of activated charcoal
  2. 1 tablespoon of water or preferably rosewater

Directions

  • Add activated charcoal and water in a small bowl, and use a spoon to mix it thoroughly together until it turns into a thick paste.
  • Wash your face with clean water and pat it dry with a soft towel.
  • Apply the paste to your face and use your finger to gently massage the paste on your face in a circular motion, this is to allow the paste to enter the skin pores.
  • Allow the face mask to stay on your face for 5 minutes and wash it off with lukewarm water. Pat your face dry after and apply face moisturizer afterward.

Activated charcoal, Aloe vera gel, and Tree tea oil for fight acne.
This recipe is packed with ingredients that help to treat acne and prevent acne occurring again. Acne is caused as result of propionibacterium which acts on the sebum present in the blocked skin pores. Tea tree oil kills the propionibacterium while activated charcoal helps to exfoliate the skin pores. Aloe vera gel  acts as a natural face cleanser and also helps to maintain and balance the skin pH.

  1. 2 tablespoon of activated charcoal
  2. 1 teaspoon of Aloe vera gel 
  3. 1 teaspoon of tree tea oil

Directions

  • Mix all the three ingredients thoroughly together until it turns into a thick paste.
  • Wash your face with clean water and pat it dry with a soft towel.
  • Apply the paste to your face and use your finger to gently massage the paste on your face in a circular motion, this is to allow the paste to enter the skin pores.
  • Allow the face mask to stay on your face for 15 minutes and wash it off with cold water. Pat your face dry after and apply face moisturizer afterward.
